2005 Maximin Grünhaus Abtsberg Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese Goldkapsel, Mosel, Germany

Calm, highly concentrated aroma of partly candied stone fruit with deep mineral, also reminiscent of dry herbs. Also in the mouth tremendously concentrated, the enormous sweetness countered by the fine acidity and the enormous, tart minerality in the best way, a lot of candied yellow fruit, but also dry herbs and some green tobacco on the palate, delicate traces, great complexity and depth, a lot of tension, still extremely young, very, very long.
