2020 Barbera d'Alba DOC "Ciabot Camerano", Piedmont, Italy

Somewhat dried-vegetable to herbal and hinted at tobacco aroma of black and red berries with nutty traces, a touch of tar and restrained barrel notes. Ripe, somewhat warm fruit, nutty, dried-vegetable to tobacco and a little smoky notes, crumbly-sandy tannin, good persistence, a little salt in the background, good to very good, quite firm, tart finish.
