2019 Barolo DOCG La Serra, Piedmont, Italy

Delicately smoky and a little dried herbal and tobacco aroma of red berries with a little tar, black berry notes and some leather and undergrowth. Firmly woven, tangy fruit, again some smoke, undergrowth, tar and tobacco, present, ripe tannin, persistent on the palate, has power and substance, some depth, salt in the background, very good, firm, tart finish with draught.
