2017 Barolo DOCG La Serra, Piedmont, Italy

Tart, clear, tobaccoy and slightly tarry aroma of dried flowers with notes of red and black berries, dried planty aromas and a little juniper and undergrowth. Ripe, clear, fine-juicy fruit, somewhat nutty and cocoa-spicy, again a little juniper in the background, also partly fresh planty to herbaceous nuances, somewhat ethereal, lasting, certain depth, very fine, youthful tannin, still rather undeveloped, smoky traces, very good, firm finish with juice, spice and grip.
