Editor note: Fairly firm, deep nose, preserved red and some black berries, delicate hint of plums, light earthy notes and some tobacco, mineral notes, undergrowth and wilted leaves. Firm again on the palate, clear, juicy fruit, elegant acid bite, fairly prominent but also very fine tannins, earthy notes, tobacco and undergrowth, excellent depth and persistence, cool mineral notes in the background, quite a traditional style, long finish.
