Dark, somewhat fleshy-animalic, nutty and dried-herbal nose of black berries with a hint of Amarena cherries, tomato paste, cedary notes and paprika. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit with nutty and spicy wood flavours, a hint of cocoa and coffee, ripe, crumbly tannins, good substance and persistence, medicinal herbs and grilled peppers in the background, a hint of iodine and tobacco ash, hints of amaretto on a very good, grippy finish.
