Very slightly boiled down, plummy, nutty and somewhat peppery nose with cherry and chocolate aromas, some tobacco and Mediterranean herbal spice. Relatively tart, quite juicy fruit, peppery spice, Mediterranean herbs and black olives, tomato notes and capers, some salt in the background, also a little meat juice, some persistence, slightly sweetish tones at the end, but again also bite, good finish with a hint of smoke. A lot of wine for the money.
