Intense roasted coffee notes on the nose, some malted notes and dried berries in the background. Spicy and bitter on the palate, with notes of dark coffee beans, prominent herbaceous notes, some dark berry fruit, fairly persistent, noticeable but fairly well integrated oak, fine-grained tannins, only very slightly astringent, has some substance, good long finish.
