2018 Bad Kösen Saalhäuser Blauer Zweigelt trocken "Breitengrad51", Saale-Unstrut, Germany

Somewhat herbal, delicately floral and also a little woody-spicy aroma of partly pickled mixed berries and cherries. Ripe, again partly pickled fruit, toasty and smoky wood, some drying tannin, slight acid bite, peppery-spicy tones, a little schnapps on the palate, good finish with chocolaty tones and slightly drying tannin.
