The winery is located in the community of Mainstockheim (Maindreieck area) in the German wine growing region of Franconia
. It was founded in 2005 by Brigitte Günzel-Stintzing (graduated geographer) and Olaf Stintzing (graduated oenologist). The vineyards cover almost three hectares of vineyards, planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Riesling, Blauer Silvaner, Grüner Veltliner, as a mixed set
Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as St. Laurent. We practice natural viticulture with gentle soil and vine care. Great importance is attached to physiological ripeness
of the grapes. The wines are produced in the lines Vineta (fruit-laden wines matured in steel tanks), LandArt and Premium. The aim is to produce creamy and long-lasting wines, to which an obligatory malolactic fermentation
also contributes. The wines are aged using traditional methods in large wooden barrels and sometimes in combination with steel tanks. The flagship of the house is "Erdrauch" (from the Premium line), a partially macerated, barrique-aged Silvaner from specially selected vines.
