Firm, relatively tart aroma of black and a little red berries with juniper notes, a hint of cherries, tar and Mediterranean herbs. Firmly knit, ripe, juicy fruit, some sandy tannin, has power and substance, good persistence, liquorice notes and a little juniper in the background, chocolatey hints, a touch of pepper, good to very good, quite juicy and spicy finish.
