2022 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Weißburgunder "Kalkberg", Alto Adige, Italy

A fairly firm, slightly herbal and subtly smoky aroma with rather bright and soft, fine yellow fruit notes, as well as a hint of moss, algae, and a trace of tobacco. Clear, firm, yet somewhat creamy, juicy fruit, lively, very fine acidity, delicate smoky notes, fresh herbs, and a touch of citrus zest, persistent on the palate, has certain power, but also fine, cooling ethereal tones, a little celery, initially moderate, then more pronounced wood notes, quite complex, some depth, very good finish with a hint of white pepper.
