2018 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Cabernet Riserva "Turmfeld", Alto Adige, Italy

Nutty, somewhat warm aroma of ripe, partly preserved mixed berries and some plums with dried plant and floral aromas, hints of pepper, tobacco and cocoa. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with slightly tobacco, nutty and coffee-spicy wood aromas, crumbly tannins and some bite, herbal-vegetal nuances, a little red pepper, persistent, has power and warmth, hints of juniper, also herbal nuances, a little chalk, not eternally deep, good to very good, tart finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2022 bis 2026+. What our ratings mean
