2021 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Pinot Noir Riserva "Yura", Alto Adige, Italy

Somewhat smoky and dried-vegetable aroma of rather red berries with peppery nuances, hints of mixed pickles, bacon and soup herbs as well as a hint of dark chocolate. Powerful in the mouth, ripe, again rather red fruit, relatively fine, still a hint of drying tannin and some bite, good substance and persistence, noticeable but integrated alcohol, cooling ethereal-herbal notes, blueberry notes, also a hint of pepper, almost a little sweetish melting, some candy, again chocolaty nuances, not too deep, very good finish with clear, yet slightly jammy fruit and then still noticeable alcohol warmth.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2028+. What our ratings mean
