2008 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Vernatsch "Galea", Alto Adige, Italy

Preserved red berries and a hint of plums on the nose, prominent notes of almonds. Clear, tranquil fruit on the palate, red and some black berries, fairly soft and creamy, more almonds, some mineral traces, good persistence, very good finish.

Editor note: Nose still slightly reductive, red berries, light vegetal notes and some bell peppers, delicate floral notes. Very clear on the palate, elegant, juicy and polished, red fruit, delicate oak, mature tannins, fairly creamy, good persistence, very harmonious, mineral traces, good to very good finish.
