2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Sauvignon "Mantele", Alto Adige, Italy

Clear, fairly mature nose, tart yellow fruit, herbaceous and mineral notes, touch of elderberry flowers and a hint of bell peppers, black berries. Clean, ripe, elegant and juicy fruit on the palate, tart herbs and spices, hint of bell peppers, fennelseeds, elderberry florwers and berries, full-bodied and creamy, touch of caramel and sugar candy, hint of tobacco, light mineral notes, persistent, noticeable alcohol on a very good finish. Still in excellent condition.
