Fairly mature nose, intense dried berries, herbs and spices, sauteed bell peppers, dark chocolate, undergrowth, medicinal herbs. Compact, polished fruit on the palate, still rather closed, dried dark berries, some eucalyptus, licorice and melissa, dark chocolate and cocoa, integrated tannins, full-bodied and has substance, but not overpowering in spite of the noticeable alcohol, very well made in something reminiscent of a New World style, but still shows its origins, warm on a very good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2015+. What our ratings mean
