2007 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Rosenmuskateller Rajas, Alto Adige, Italy

Partly preserved and partly dried red berries and some plums on the nose, dried flowers and some tobacco, smoky oak. Full-bodied, sweetish fruit on the palate, prominent spicy, smoky oak, relatively fine tannins, only slightly sandy and astringent, creamy, good persistence, has some depth, quite firm, still youthful, spicy and smoky notes, candied fruit on a long finish.
