2020 Wachau DAC Ried Kaiserberg Grüner Veltliner Smaragd® trocken, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Firm, quite deep, a little dried vegetal aroma of ripe pome fruit with citrus and stone fruit notes, very fine herbal and floral nuances reminiscent of roses and clear minerality. Bright, tart, juicy, again very tightly knit fruit, dense and deep, nutty hints, a hint of yeast, clear, fine vegetal aromas, pepper in the background, hints of light tobacco, persistent on the palate, multi-layered, very slightly sweet melting, tart minerality, rose water, a little mellow apple, very good, firm, juicy, melting, grippy and mineral finish with ethereal traces.
