2019 Wachau Sauvignon Blanc trocken Reserve, Lower Austria/Niederösterreich, Austria

Ripe, firm and deep, somewhat vegetal to dried-vegetable, nutty and slightly bacony scent of yellow fruits with a hint of smoke, yellow spice, black berries and peppers. Polished, firm, juicy fruit with a slightly sweet melting, a hint of butter and dried mushrooms, fine, lively acidity, slightly nutty wood tones in the background, some friable tannin, dense and persistent, some depth, rather dark minerality, very good, complex finish with draught.
