Firm, tart aroma of black berries and green peppers with nutty, smoky and somewhat tobacco barrel notes, hints of liquorice and dried meat. Ripe, tightly knit and concentrated, tangy dark fruit, smoky and slightly peppery notes, mixed pickles in the background, quite present, yet ripe and crumbly tannins, good persistence, has power, ethereal hints, some bitter chocolate, compact structure, very good, firm, slightly warm finish with tart meaty and slightly smoky tones as well as dark spice. Needs to mature.
