2022 trocken "Rouge", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Youthful, slightly smoky to bacony nose of black and some red berries with a little stone fruit and citrus, pepper and tobacco. Slender, cool, tart fruit, vegetal to herbal and again somewhat smoky notes, quite present acidity, fine, youthful tannins, a hint of bacon on the palate, herbal tones, pepper and some salt, good to very good, cool finish.
