Fairly firm, clearly nutty, smoky, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and slightly bacony nose, yellow fruit with nuances reminiscent of pistachios and jalapenos. Firm fruit with a delicately sweetish melt, some marzipan, lots of smoke and hints of fennel and pepper, lively acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, chalky minerality, very good, grippy finish with bite.
