Tight, yeasty and somewhat smoky, fine pome fruit and citrus scent with herbal and planty aromas, a hint of orange zest and light tobacco. Clear, tangy, polished fruit, taut and grippy, clearly yeasty aromas, a little smoky, orange zest again, lasting, good depth, chalky and salty hints, lots of bite, quite complex, very fine aromatic bitterness, peppery traces, gripping, very good, taut, grippy, tangy-juicy finish. A surprise: the wine has never been better.

Editor note: Translate to English Kühle, geschliffene, einen Hauch metallische Nase mit feinen Kernobst- und Zitrusaromen, pflanzlichen Nuancen, Hefe, zarter gelber Würze und floralen Nuancen. Klare, feinsaftige Frucht, pflanzliche, hefige und florale Aromen, sehr feines, eher moderates Mousseux, gute Nachhaltigkeit, kräuterig-pflanzliche Nuancen, etwas Zitruszesten, ganz zart melonig, hat Biss, florale Spuren und ein Hauch Waldmeister, sehr guter Abgang mit Spuren von Speck und Pilzen. Erstklassiger, vielseitiger Speisenbegleiter.

Editor note: Translate to English Kühle, deutlich pflanzliche bis leicht kräuterige und hefige Nase mit Zitrusnoten und ein wenig Apfel. Herb-saftige Frucht mit hefigen, pflanzlichen bis leicht kräuterigen und auch ein wenig rauchig-speckigen Noten, relativ feine Perlage, gute Substanz und Nachhaltigkeit, etwas Griff, sehr guter, recht fester, herb-saftiger, wieder leicht rauchiger Abgang mit pflanzlichen und angedeutet pilzigen Noten.
