2017 Barbaresco DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Cool and fine, quite deep fragrance of predominantly red berries with very fine floral aromas and a hint of tobacco, pepper and foliage. Tight, fine, juicy, polished, quite noble fruit, certain acid bite and very fine, youthful tannin, very dense and persistent on the palate, at the same time elegant, fine spice with a hint of cocoa and ethereal notes, clear minerality, multi-layered, excellent depth, still little developed, moderately roasted in the background, very good to long, firm, juicy and spicy finish with grip
