2016 Barolo DOCG "Dagromis®", Piedmont, Italy

Tart, deep, somewhat dried floral and nutty fragrance with calm aromas of ripe red berries, especially raspberries, some undergrowth, sage, distinct morels, floral traces and fine spice. Clear, tart, finely juicy, ripe fruit, tobacco and nutty aromas, ripe, fine tannin and animating bite, dense and persistent on the palate, a little cigar box and noble spice, in the background clear minerality, good depth, still young, quite complex, remains rather cool and almost light-footed despite all the strength, very good, firm finish with ripe juice and spice. From the half bottle
