2022 Silvaner trocken "APRILES", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Somewhat nutty, woody-spicy and smoky pome fruit aroma with a hint of vanilla, a little wild mushroom, orange peel, fennel seeds and a hint of tobacco and nut butter. Ripe, melting, warm fruit, very fine acidity and some grip, light, slightly vanilla wood flavours on the palate, a little fat nuts, persistent, hint of floral, almost creamy texture, smoke, wild mushrooms and mineral hints in the background, very good, again warm and melting finish.
