Firm aroma of ripe stone and pomaceous fruit with slightly nutty and herbal notes, some celery, citrus tones and a hint of smoke. Ripe, warm, juicy, partly candied fruit, a certain acid bite and crumbly tannin, nutty notes on the palate, orange zest and apricots, a little nut butter and earthy-vegetable flavours, persistent, relatively high in alcohol, a little loud for a Silvaner, very good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2030+. What our ratings mean
