2023 Schloss Johannisberg Riesling Kabinett VDP.Grosse Lage, "Rotlack", Rheingau, Germany

Almost calm, somewhat vegetal citrus/peach nose with a hint of pear, delicate herbal notes and floral nuances. Slender, cool, bright fruit with lively acidity and moderate sweetness, delicate floral and hints of waxy tones on the palate, some minerality in the background, still yeasty traces, planty tones reminiscent of parsley, certain persistence, good to very good finish.
