2019 Fellbach Lämmler trocken Edition P, "Amandus", Württemberg, Germany

Firm, quite fresh, smoky and a touch sooty aroma of black berries and cherries with herbal nuances, some tobacco, noticeable wood as well as earthy and peppery notes. Clear, tart black fruit with dark, toasty and smoky wood spice, some liquorice, juniper and pepper, fine sandy, youthful tannin, some bite, clearly dark chocolate and coffee grounds on the palate, a lot of alcohol power but at the same time also cooling elements, salt in the background, good persistence, not eternally deep but very skilfully vinified, very good, firm, tart finish with light wood bitterness, some bacon and partly Mediterranean spice.
