The winegrowers' cooperative "Fellbacher Weingärtner eG" has its headquarters in the community of Fellbach at the foot of the Kappelberg in the German wine growing region of Württemberg. The wine town of Fellbach is located directly at the gates of Stuttgart and is one of the largest wine growing communities in Württemberg. The managing directors are Friedrich Benz (administration) and Albrecht Schurr (sales); the cellar master is Tobias Single. The vineyards of the approximately 120 grape suppliers comprise around 190 hectares of vineyards, mostly in the Goldberg and Lämmler areas. Fellbach is known as a red wine community. The traditional varieties Trollinger, Pinot Noir and SchwarzrieslingLemberger are predominantly cultivated. These are joined by various Cabernet crosses, Acolon, Dornfelder and Samtrot; but international grape varieties such as Merlot and Syrah also thrive in the Fellbach vineyards. The white wine share of about 30% is dominated by the Riesling variety. In addition, you will find the varieties Rivaner, Kerner, Grauer Burgunder, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Gewürztraminer, i.e. a rich selection with very different tastes. Among the products are the wines of the "Evento" and "Federle" editions as well as in the lines of "Edition C" (regionally typical, fine fruity wines), "Edition S" (selection through consistent yield regulation) and "Edition P" (premium segment). The red wines of "Edition P" usually mature in wooden barrels, some of them are aged in barriques. The large product range also includes bottle-fermented sparkling wine, sparkling wine (Secco), liqueur, grape marc spirit, brandy, wine vinegar, balsamic vinegar, grape juice and wine jelly. Guided tours of our winery for groups of 12 to 100 people are available by appointment, followed by wine tasting. The wine tastings are conducted by the management or by qualified wine growers. Even professionally demanding wine connoisseurs will get their money's worth during the wine tasting. A calendar of events provides information on topics and dates.
