2019 Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione "Vigna Dofana", Tuscany, Italy

Firm, tart, black berry aroma with tobacco and smoky wood notes, a hint of coffee, leathery tones, dried Mediterranean herbs, black olives and some cigar ash. Ripe, juicy, partly preserved fruit, again tobacco and some smoky wood, slightly jammy tones, fine acidity and some salt, persistent on the palate, cedary nuances and again cigar ash, has power, but also cooling elements, a hint of ice confectionery, very good, juicy and smoky-tobacco finish.
