2009 Südtirol / Alto Adige DOC Blauburgunder Mezzan, Alto Adige, Italy

Slightly muted, nutty nose, light spicy oak, preserved berries and undergrowth. Gentle preserved berry fruit on the palate, hint of coconut and some chocolate, traces of undergrowth and mushroom, herbaceous notes in the background, integrated, fine-grained tannins, delicately creamy, slightly warm on a good finish.
