2006 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Teroldego Gran Masetto, Trentino, Italy

Fairly deep nose, preserved and dried black berries, cherries and some red berries, hint of liqueur, some wilted flowers and candied herbs, slightly jammy with some chocolate notes. Very ripe, juicy, sweetish, partly dried fruit on the palate, very creamy, slightly sweetish spicy oak, chocolate and some vanilla notes, partly very mature and partly slightly astringent tannins, huge body, good persistence and has some depth, very good finish.
