Fairly mature, quite deep nose, plums and berries, spice and medicinal herbs. Mature again on the palate, sweetish, preserved, slightly jammy berry fruit, hint of nougat, some cloves and cinnamon, trace of quinine bark, tannins still very slightly furry, full-bodied, individual style reminiscent of Amarone, becomes firmer and much fresher with aeration, prominent mineral notes, very good long finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2016+. What our ratings mean
