2005 Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Masetto Nero, Trentino, Italy

Blackcurrants and blackberries on the nose, smoky oak and light floral traces. Fairly cool style, dark fruit on the palate, more smoky oak, quite fine but slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, but not a lot of substance or depth, elegant tart oak aromas, slightly noticeable alcohol, slightly astringent again on an attractive finish.
