2022 "Sonnengold", Italy

Firm, clearly nutty aroma of partly dried and candied pomaceous fruit and apricot flavours with a little mushroom and tobacco. Ripe, partly preserved fruit with nutty and clearly vegetal flavours, again also delicately tobacco, partly brown butter and almost a little sweetish melting on the palate, moderate tannin, crumbly tannin, good substance and persistence, a hint of elderberry in the background, some allspice, very good, somewhat warm, melting and spicy finish.
