2018 Pays d'Oc IGP Cuvée "Pontserme - Oc Rouge", Languedoc, France

Quite firm, somewhat developed, slightly smoky and toasty, iodine and fleshy-animal aroma of ripe black berries with dark ethereal spice, a little coffee and tobacco. Quite firm, tart dark fruit with noticeable acid bite and present, fine sandy tannins, some persistence, smoky-roasty and tobacco hints, slightly earthy, peppery-etheric notes in the background, medium power, a hint of salt, leathery hints, good to very good finish with slightly drying tannin.
