2021 Saint-Chinian AOC Chardonnay, Languedoc, France

Very slightly reductive, somewhat bacony, almondy and vegetal to herbal citrus scent with slightly black berry aromas. Straightforward, juicy fruit with a delicately sweet melt, a hint of nut butter and sage, fine acidity, has some grip and a certain persistence, dried mushrooms in the background, earthy tones, good finish.
