2015 Pinot Noir Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Vegetal nose, slightly reminiscent of root vegetables, light floral notes, touch of yellow and red fruit, nutty aromas, dried flowers and light mineral notes. Fairly firm fruit on the palate, nutty oak, yeasty notes, hint of mushrooms, elegant acidity, light tannic grip, good substance and persistence, full-bodied, but not at all heavy, slightly sweetish and creamy, floral and light chalky notes, some bite, more mineral and light floral notes on a very good, firm, fairly juicy, elegant, spicy finish. Well made.
