Ripe black berries and a hint of cherries on the nose, slightly toasty, bacony and bitter chocolatey oak. Tart dark fruit with brandy notes, toasty-roasted wood and earthy tones, present, slightly drying tannins, some substance and persistence, but also a little pungent alcohol, some bitterness in the otherwise good finish.
