The winery is located in the municipality of Prichsenstadt-Neuses am Sand (Steigerwald area) in the German wine growing region of
Franconia. After studying viticulture, Dipl. Ing. Harald Wörner has been running the business since 1995. The biotope-like vineyards cover almost two hectares of vineyard area. They are planted with the white wine varieties Silvaner, Kerner and Müller-Thurgau, as well as Domina. Since 2007, the vineyards have been cultivated by hand according to the rules of
bioenergetic viticulture with free development of fauna and flora under consideration of
moon phases. The tall grass between the rows of vines is usually mowed only once a year. The knowledge of the mystic
Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179), as well as Johann Wolfgang von
Goethe (1749-1832) and Rudolf
Steiner (1861-1925) serve as models. In the cellar, attention is paid to geomancy (water veins) and Feng-Shui and
fining agents are not used. The Franconian wines known as "Cosmoweine ®" are produced
vegan. They are bottled in Franconian
Bocksbeutel and in
Bordeaux bottles. Also bottle-fermented sparkling wine,
balsamic vinegar, wine vinegar, liqueurs and noble brandies are produced. About 10,000 bottles of wine are produced annually. The winery is a member of the Association Franconian Growth.
