2014 Spätburgunder trocken Kalkstein, S, Rheinhessen, Germany

Floral nose, slightly nutty and vegetal, preserved canned, predominantly red fruit, touch of dates and wilted floral notes. Preserved and partly candied fruit, sweetish fruit, some nuts and a hint of cocoa, again some dates, mature sandy tannins, milky traces, roasted notes, warm alcohol, attractive to good finish with jammy, spicy and vegetal notes.
