2021 Chardonnay "Clos de Schulz", Rheingau, Germany

Restrained, a hint of waxy fragrance with citrus aromas and a hint of stone fruit as well as nutty, delicately herbal, mushroomy and slightly vanilla tones. Quite juicy, bright yellow fruit with salty notes, planty to herbal tones, bright nutty tones and a hint of chalk, present acidity, some grip of sandy tannin, good persistence, medium power, very slightly sweet melting, smoky nuances and hints of dark ethereal spice, very good, slightly muted finish with bite.
