2020 Pinot Noir "Le Schulz", Rheingau, Germany

Warm, bacony aroma of ripe, partly preserved black and a little red berries with some gravy, Mediterranean herbs, root vegetables and a little charcoal. Again boiled down, very warm, soft, clearly chocolatey fruit, smoky-roasty wood, bitterish coffee spice, crumbly tannin, lots of alcohol, again gravy in the background, softened contours, warm and almost a little dull, alcohol powerful and chocolatey-woody, slightly melting finish.
