2018 Lorch Kapellenberg Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly dried floral and a hint of smoky tobacco scent of red and black berries and a little cherry with herbaceous nuances. Clear, polished, quite juicy, partly fresh, partly preserved fruit, very fine tannin, some bite, certain warmth of alcohol, juniper-like nuances as well as traces of coffee and cocoa, good persistence, very good, again somewhat warm, very slightly malty finish
