2018 Johannisberg Hölle Pinot Noir, Rheingau, Germany

Smoky and somewhat dried herbal scent of red berries and partly preserved cherries with herbaceous and floral nuances and a hint of malt. Fine juicy, polished, quite fresh fruit, some bite and very fine tannin, persistent on the palate, a little floral and ethereal-herbal in the background, salty nuances, a hint of cocoa, very good, juicy and very slightly chocolaty and spicy finish
