2018 Chardonnay "Clos de Schulz", Rheingau, Germany

Firm, rather fine, nutty pome fruit scent with delicate floral and vegetable tones, some yeast and moderate wood notes. Clear, finely juicy, somewhat melted, calm fruit, nutty and moderately woody aromas, very fine acidity, delicate touch, persistent on the palate, mineral nuances in the background, floral hints, increasing depth, very good, quite juicy and finely spiced, again somewhat melted finish with smoky and nutty hints. Needs a lot of air and only shows what it can do on the third day
