2010 Langhe DOC Fittino Picco, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly tart nose, red berries, some black berries and some preserved cherries with lightly dried floral notes, tobacco and a little bloody-metallic aromas. More slightly preserved fruit, old oak and earthy notes, fairly brittle and astringent tannins, noticeable alcohol, not particularly deep, herbaceous traces, good persistence and some bite, quite a good finish.
