2007 Langhe DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Slightly buttery nose, ripe, preserved mixed berries, some chocolate, hint of cedar, light mineral traces and a hint of dried herbs. Clear, ripe, juicy fruit on the palate, oak and fairly prominent tannins, dried vegetal and earthy notes, full-bodied with good persistence, light acid bite, good to very good finish.
